Hi Altitude Sales & Consulting welcomed Matt to the team in November 2008. Matt’s expertise lays with the outdoor and the snow-sports businesses; he brings more than 17 of experience to Hi Altitude team. Matt manages the sales for most of Colorado, New Mexico and Southern Wyoming focused on opening new accounts and markets, growing existing customers, implementing and micro-managing special promotions that are aimed at growing the business.  He hosts educational and technical product trainings for sales staff, assortment consultation and event support for retailers.  Prior to joining Hi Altitude, Matt worked  for Specialty Sports Ventures as a Store Manager at The North Face store at Beaver Creek Ski Resort and Jax Outdoor Gear in Fort Collins, CO. At Specialty Sports Venture he managed a team of sales people, trained them and over saw the day to day operation of a successful store at the based of a Colorado Ski Resort. At Jax Outdoor Gear, Matt managed employee product training, floor sales and the sales of soft and hard goods; Matt was consistently named the top salesperson with both companies.  

Matt is a graduate of Colorado State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration of merchandising. Matt is a foremost canyoneer but truly enjoy selling products to go backpacking, biking, climbing, hiking, camping, caving, skiing and snowboarding. Matt says that having this crossover of snow-sports and outdoor perspective has been invaluable and has attributed to his success in this industry.  During his time off, Matt enjoys canyoneering, backpacking, skiing and fly fishing. He grew up in Colorado Springs and currently lives in Denver, CO.
