Ryan is the principal sales representative and founder of Hi Altitude Sales & Consulting. As principal, Ryan oversees his team of five employees, manages sales for all of their manufacturers and brands as well as key account sales management. Ryan brings more than 26 years of experience in the outdoor industry and is considered an expert when it comes to sophisticated and complex selling strategies which involve several metrics and a multitude of items. Previously, Ryan worked as an independent sales representative for Richard Stone & Associates in Northern California. Ryan oversaw the sales management of seven major product lines varying from outdoor to work markets. He was instrumental in opening new accounts and markets and growing existing markets. He thrived in organizing and implementing special promotions and directed educational, sales and technical support trainings for customers. He also worked on the original committee that started the Outdoor University.
In other roles, Ryan held a buyer title with Sport Chalet in southern California. While with Sport Chalet, Ryan lead the complete re-assortment of white & flat water boating assortments as well as building the backcountry, cross-country & telemark ski and the climbing departments. After always having an entrepreneur mentality, Ryan moved back to Colorado and started Hi Altitude Sales and Consulting in October 1997. He knew the Rocky Mountain territory was a perfect landscape for his business as it offers a balance with four distinct seasons and a variety of outdoor sporting opportunities.
